Taxation without Representation

I miss the three drink lunch on Fridays (at company expense) when we went back to the office and did nothing for the rest of the afternoon.  It was before everyone had a PC at their desk, so all the time people waste during the week on PC stuff we just saved up for Friday's, and then we'd leave early, and go out to the bars.

I worked for the lobbying department of my university, we called it 'government relations' and I was pretty greasy work.  Not for the weak of stomach.  But, give me back my expense account and the Friday lunch, I'll think about it.

All I said was that I don't really feel represented in government.

That's because you are not really rich or a huge corportation.  If you were one of those oil companies you would not only feel represented, you would feel pride of ownership.

Now that really sums it up.

Yet another reason for socialism; everyone is equal and everyone is represented.  (Please note I said "socialism" not "communism," they're two very different systems.  Sweden is socialist, and they're doing great!)
