Transgender alt-rock singer-songwriter Beth Isbell is slated to perform at the Red Light Café on June 28. She is also on the roster for Atlanta Pride this year.

Isbell, who was born in Georgia and now lives in Oklahoma, performs solo a great deal, but she also fronts a psychedelic Dallas, Texas band, the Dead Prophets. She performed live for the first time in 2003 and told CD Baby, "I try to deliver my soul to the audience in every performance."
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
