"Reasonable Christian" and "Compassionate Conservative" seem to both be similar terms in that they both rely on redefining the adjective to mean the opposite of what the dictionary says.  In this case "reasonable" means someone who uses a Systematical Hermaneutic to express his opinions.  Having been trained as a Systematician, I know that this has nothing to do with reason.

Surely Charlie sits to reason in his inner sanctum. Until someone else needs some reasoning time. Then I'm sure he cleans up and leaves the room as clean as it was when he arrived. All he leaves behind is the odor of his reason.
