You know, there are people who actually believe they have the soul of a mythical creature, and exhibit traits of such in their lives. The same with animals. It's very interesting. I met a guy who was part of the otherkin community once, and after talking to him, I wasn't so sure that he was making it up. He claimed he had the soul of a wolf and felt that being human was very wrong. It's a very interesting thing to look into.
