Hey Lutin, Sweety. i haven't forgotten about your exam you know (as you can see. Hehe).
if you know about theatrical superstition, I'm not going to say... you know... so rather: break a leg for your test on the 25. *huggles*

I'm gonna be thinking of you that day so don't you worry.

*huggles* hon- and don't forget them crutches. *giggle*

and please... if anyone want to wish any more leg breaking for Lutin. it's what this thread was intended for. *smiles*

Hehe. I won't say any of those things. I won't wish good luck, breaking of legs or to do well. However ...

Lutin honey, my thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Awww, you're both so sweet, thank you!!! :icon_hug: :icon_hug:

(And I can't believe you actually remembered, Eloise! My own parents can't even remember! ::)).

I think I've pretty much passed this course anyway (we've had two assignments so far, one worth 10% and the other worth 40%, and I've got distinctions for both), so I can sort of not do well and still be OK. But eugh, the revision!

QuoteIt is universally allowed by modern enquirers, that all the sensible qualities of objects, such as hard, soft, hot, cold, white, black &c. are merely secondary, and exist not in the objects themselves, but are perceptions of the mind, without any external archetype or model, which they represent. If this be allowed, with regard to secondary qualities, it must also follow, with regard to the supposed primary qualities of extension and solidity; nor can the latter be any more entitled to that denomination than the former...

My opinion of David Hume has diminished somewhat. But it's great, 'cause I can think of nothing better to do than read each paragraph of every reading five times to understand it.

But seriously, exam-induced stress/bitterness aside, I really do appreciate it all (wow, I feel loved....... *ahh* :icon_love:), so thanks again!!! (And how did your exams go, Eloise? I feel bad for not keeping track now :icon_redface:).

Love and :icon_hug: to all!!!!!!!

And I'll make sure those crutches are handy, just in case... ;)

Though, given the number of times my head's been intimately acquainted with the wall 'cause I couldn't understand something :eusa_wall:, a *helmet* might be an idea... ;)

huh... what does that quote part mean?? Lol. kidding- it's a confuzling piece, that's for sure.

my exam went- and that's all that makes me happy. Lol. my maths went horrible... as it always does... and my economy went better than last year, but I'm not sure if it's well enough to meet uni requirements.

oh well- if i don't pass, I'll just go to college and take the subjects i actually want to take. Lol.

but anyhow- congrats on your results even before you get them. just don't do bad on purpose- joke. (-^.^-)
and don't feel bad, please... *huggles*.
lotsa love to you too hon.
and good luck on wednesday (at least in my time- Lol).

Glad to know you're relatively happy about how things went. :D

12 hours before the exam :icon_eek:, I thought I'd share this delightful little bit from the lecturer's notes:

There are many famous arguments for property dualism (The Knowledge Argument and Inverted Spectra are two you might like to follow up for yourselves but the readings include the simplest and most elegant, called the zombie argument.

;D
