"The regulations, warns LaBarbera, create a huge potential for lawsuits
against the state. "What if they slip up and call a 'he' a 'she?'
What happens if it's a person who hasn't done anything with hormones
or sex change and they just want to be referred to as a female," he
continues to question.

Apart from increasing the potential for sexual assaults, he points out
that the potential for a "biological male" to be imprisoned with
females is astonishing. "We're talking about jail here," adds the
activist."
