"I didn't get to grow up female. I really am a would-be fashionista, yet I have this canvas to work with. And socially, I'm still pretty "outside" among natal females. I was struck by that when I went to the washroom after the film. I think it was one of the first really crowded washrooms I've used. I had no problem going in, doing my business, and washing up afterward, but I had a rare moment of self consciousness."
