We're not allowed to speak dosages on the site. Everyone starts out diff depending on the level of T their body is already producing.

Wow. You really need to talk to your doctor about dose/application. Don't guess. You'll hate yourself if you guess. Testosterone can be a monster if you don't know what you're doing. Best of luck to you. :)

Seriously, I'd hold off and not take it until I was absolutely sure of the dosage and where the needle goes.

I just got syringes that already have needles on them and I use the same needle for drawing and injecting, it doesn't seem like a big deal to use the same needle for me. Of course, I've never tried it the other way so maybe if I tried it it would be a big deal, haha. But just saying, you might have to have your doctor write something specific in your prescription to get different/extra needles for drawing up.

Congrates on starting here is a few tips. However as said by others we can't discuss dosages publicly on this board. PM and we can talk about test results and dosages.

Syringe- anything from 1ml to 5ml is fine. Don't go bigger or smaller unless you go for specialized forms of testosterone.

Needle- you need 1 but 2 is better. 18g is great for drawing and nothing bigger then 21g for injecting. You can go as small as 28g but don't wiggle the needle and it will take longer to inject. 1" to 1.5" long will suffice as long as you aren't morbidly obese. Needle can come attached to the syringe or separate. The come in individual packages and need to be bought separately. Many pharmacies have them in stock depending on the gauge.

No idea about you insurance company but most cover HRT for biomen. A lot of guys find that the company doesn't check and it is just covered. Officially my insurance doesn't cover it but all my doc needed to do was write a number on the script.

I am assuming you have a doctor teaching you to do your injections and monitor your health. Your doc needs baseline testing of everything before beginning treatment. You need free and bound testosterone, all the oestrogens and dihydrotestosterone. Sex hormone binding globulin is very useful as well. Lipids, ALT, ALP, AST, kidney function, CBC and a few others. Make sure your doctor does thyroid, adrenal and and clotting tests as well. Don't neglect your health buddy many doctors will prescribe and monitor to keep you away from the black market and unsupervised use.
