"At the end of this week there will be a conference in London, The
Forum on Genital Cutting in a Globalized Age, which has been reduced
to little more than a disgusting spectacle where the medical
profession as good as "Spell it out" when it comes to how intersex
children are treated. Perhaps I am being too harsh; however, at the
time of writing a few interesting things have happened since this
forum was announced. In the original press release it was billed as a
discussion about "Genital cutting" that involves all subjects that are
covered by this subject, ranging from transsexualism to female genital
mutilation."
