Women's lives are more complicated than men's lives and that's what she's referring to.  I noticed this immediately upon going fulltime.  I have no problem handling it, but I think that's one of the biggest reasons for the RLT (Real Life Test for those who don't know).  To see if you can handle the life of the gender you are transitioning to.

How so? Humor me here. Please elaborate.

Well, more is expected from them than males.  They also have additional things to do in their daily lives like makeup, choosing clothing from a bigger selection, dealing with men, and safety issues.  Better manners are expected of women and they are judged much harsher (especially by other women) than men.  Does that help?

Yep, life definitely simplifies when you go female to male. Not surprised to hear it gets more complicated going the other way.

No regrets here at all, ever. It was absolutely the right move for me.

No regrets either.  It keeps life interesting. :)

I can attest to that. Probably why I haven't been able to keep a platonic relationship with a girl for more than say 5 min., at least thus far in my life. I always know immediately when I've f****** up, because I get "the look". You know the one, girls, the one that says you've just somehow displayed unacceptable behaviour. So I get the look, but still don't know what I did wrong.

I live with two females and I get "the look" and still don't know what I've done wrong... I don't think it's possible to crack the code, but if you figure it out you'll make millions!!!

Melissa, that does make a lot of sense about it getting more difficult for M2F's because of everything that must first be in place in order to begin RLT. There are a lot of other reasons why there are more struggles I now realize but I suppose I wasn't thinking of it from the rest of the worlds point of view. I believe that bio womens lives are already more difficult than bio mens let alone having to deal with extra persecution and ridicule.

Thanks for the clarification Chynna and Melissa, it's nice to learn more about both sides of things. :)

You're right Melissa:

Let's see...many things to do on a daily basis:

Makeup (go easy on the blush...and please no more blue eye shadow...)

Hair (has to be perfect by the way...or else your day is completely ruined!!)

The right clothes (stay away from all the white colors, you know...off white, bone, ivory, light cream, beige...and stay away from horizontal line tops, too)

Shoes (open toe for this type of weather, summer that is.

If you commute on a train like Melissa, chynna and myself (don't sit at the very first or the very last wagons...for psychos ride the trains too...)

Sunscreen is a must (regardless of the season we're in...the sun is poison for your skin)

Moisturize your entire body (from head to toe...use a moisturizer that is not oil based)

Eat your greens (broccoli, spinach, green beans, lettuce....they're good for you)

Take at least a multi vitamin daily (you could do it at the same time you take your hormones so that you don't forget)

Drink plenty of water (I know it's hard but it can be done)

Exercise (if you're lazy like me....you can always walk, walk and walk)

Take a baby aspirin (it will help thin your blood somewhat)

I think this is it, with a few exceptions, this routine can be anybody's really....so yeah...the life of a woman is always more hectic.....

P.S.  I know....totally off topic :icon_yikes:

It depends how good the sex is. If you're sweating then it's exercise!

Let me tell you gyrl....I got hair more than half way down my back and don't know how to do crap with it!! Except brush it!!LOL
I think we have the same texture of hair or very close.....
My hair back in 2001 was no longer than a half inch....You might wanna try keeping your hair in braids for a year or two thats how I manage to grow my mane in 4 yrs I just kept getting my hair cornrowed and braided every 4 weeks And let my hair breath for a day or two between braids...
Just a suggestion chica...
Also for the make-up tip ill be posting it in the WIKI as soon as i pull the information I need off the web...Afterall I am a IMAC gyrl!
