As the Anglican community are currently preparing to gather at the
Lambeth conference the three week international gathering of Anglican
bishops which takes place every 10 years, many will remember that the
1998 Conference was dominated by the issue of homosexuality and the
Church.

Manchester however is making sure it shows support for the lesbian,
gay, bisexual and transgender community having hosted a special
service aimed at sending out positive messages of an inclusive church
that welcomes people from all denominations.
