Dyke March takes pride in 'pussy power'

With the sun shining July 5 — and it never seems to rain at the Dyke March — a diverse group of lesbians, self-described queers, gay men, and transgender men and women took to the streets for Pride's edgy Saturday evening tradition.

Organizers estimate roughly 400 people marched in the 2008 Dyke March, in line with numbers from years past despite the move to the Civic Center from Piedmont Park.
