Trans group reaches out to young people
YouthPride offers services for T youth and allies

http://www.southernvoice.com/today/index.cfm?blog_id=19634Trans & Friends, a group for transgender youth and their allies ages 13 to 24 years old, meets at YouthPride every Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1017 Edgewood Ave., adjacent to the Inman Park United Methodist Church.
Also meeting on Mondays is Empowered Men, a group for young African American gay and bisexual men ages 13 to 24. YouthPride offers several weekly support groups for young people seeking a safe space to be openly gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
