Off my bus, err taxi sir?

THE ON going problem of light fingered lady boys continues. I'm told. Not just the well known problems on Pattaya Beach road at night but daylight robbery particularly on songteuw baht busses. The gender confused men dressed as women must be some of the very few who are sad to see the end of the bum numbing pot holes on Thrappaya Road. The poor road made fellow travelers even poorer with the ease of lifting their wallets, often by these large but nimble handed (wo)men. Whoa indeed, not Phoaar! But maybe the end of the road is in sight? Some songteuw drivers are refusing to stop and pick up known lady boy pick pockets. One driver was seen to throw 'known' problems off as soon as they got on. As an aside, what a great non event the metered taxi in Pattaya has been. These Bangkok style metered taxis quietly launched here. But taxi drivers refuse to use the meter and chance their luck with highly quoted fares. Certainly one to avoid until they get their act in order. This does not inspire usage or confidence and makes the songteuw baht bus, err taxi, seem that much more attractive. Lady boy pick pockets permitting!
