I smell landslide

SAN FRANCISCO - A measure seeking to commemorate President Bush's years in office by slapping his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot.

The measure certified Thursday would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

I heard about this before (the sewage plant) and I was dying of laughter. You KNOW that you are a bad president when they would consider something like this, (and if you don't know then....wow.....you are living with your totally delusional head in the sand).

I was thinking more along the lines of the meaning of its delivery.  Its fun we have this on the ballot, but what we should be doing is not renaming the plant, but firing Nancy Pelosi for failure to represent us.  Since that does not seem possible, this is the second choice, a stupid futile one that makes no difference, rather than doing the thing that does make a big difference.
