Interesting events happen today. First I oversleep and get to work 30 minutes late. Then while helping my manager move a big heavy metal door onto a spray rack to be painted, the stupid holding bar slips and hits me on the head. At least the metal spike missed, or i'd probably be dead.
So then after feeling sick and woozy, a nice lady in the office fills out my accident report for me. I probably should have gone to the hospital in an ambulance, but managed to get my scooter there in one piece. Even though my mind wasn't, and still isn't, quite 100% I do remember dreading going to the ER and outing myself to the staff.
So when I get there I get checked in, give my male legal name, and get shown to a room. A few hours later after talking to the doc I get discharged with a concussion and told to take it easy until tomorrow. The doctor and staff were very nice and used my female name when I asked them to. But it wasn't until I got home and looked at my hospital wristband that I made a pleasant discovery. Right next to my name and age, was a big F instead of an M.

That right there made my day, just wish it didn't have to hurt so much to be seen as a woman.
