Socialist Youth Party want gender change recognised

The Socialist Youth Party (JS) wants Portuguese Law changed, allowing
transsexuals to change their name and sex at the Civil Registry. The
only candidate for the General Secretary of JS, Duarte Cordeiro, hopes
his motion will make the law clear rather than giving the power of a
decision to judges, a procedure that has seen unequal outcomes.
