Your favorite way to workout?

Machinery - treadmills, stair contraptions, stationary bikes, etc
Outdoorsy - biking, skiing, hiking, swimming, etc
Neighborhoodly - walking, jogging, running, biking, rollerblading, etc
Indoorsy -  aerobics, free dance, dance with weights,  etc
Bench pressingy, heavy weight lifting, etc
Tediously and Pointlessly - stomach crunches, butt crunches, workout videos with women in leotards,
Lazily - I don't like working out enough to have a favorite method.

I have been doing all my exercises in the computer room doing the deep knee bends and the stationary walk, and I have also started a new set of exercises to get rid of my pot, I hate my pot, everyone thinks I'm pregnant. The only part I do like is for them to actually think I am actually young enough to be pregnant. I am looking forward to doing my walks outdoors again now that it is nice and sunny out again.

Hehe, besides wiggling.. Which I'm serious about.

I water plants at an office complex of several acres.  Takes around 10 hours to water the whole place.  I get my workout carrying heavy hoses all day~

What about the Tuvok shuffle.
But I still like good old rock music and dance my butt off and do the hair flip.
Kirakero I can't lift heavy stuff much anymore, just don't have the upper body strength. But I still have my jar opener Wing Walker.  :D  But I would love a nice apartment size front yard and plant my own  garden. Or I could do like I did in a previous apartment I had, I grew plants all over the apartment. Kind of nice during the winter, one can pretend it's summer time with all the greenery. I love working with plants and I miss gardening.

I fidget constantly, especially if I'm sitting down.  I don't like to sit still.  I'd rather FREERUN  :D

Ok Gnawty,
Probably a stupid question, but Le Parkuer?
Please explain, because I sure it is one of those things I will be slapping the side of my head over, once you tell me.
And while I am here. All of you bikers, and runners should go and purchase a jump rope.
I use one in my workout, and before I started working out with one I thought it would be a piece of cake. And besides if it is raining, snowing, or just miserable outside you can do it inside,  just watch out for light fixtures!!!!!!!

I'm going to add: I joined a body conditioning class and a yoga class. Both very efficient and fun ways to work out. :)

Five days a week? I think it will help you maintain body shape. Taking care of your knees. Even with ample streching before and after, I had knee pains occasionally about 20 years ago when I sometimes exercised for > 6 hours a day. Slim people are advantageous as they have less body area to attack, or Taekwondo itself can make you body slim. Nowadays I just run for exercise and no knee pain.

I keep hoping that if I can lose a significant amount of weight, that will take a great deal of strain off my bad ankle and then I can go back to light hiking again. It's great exercise, I love the canyons, and it seems criminal to live right across the street from a terrific canyon and not take advantage of it.

I love to ride my bike around when it's not hot as hell, and I'd really like to start hiking but there's no good hiking spots around here.

Hi, Camden,

I saw a lof of people who had knee pains after just starting it. Proper stretching and regular exercise would gradually decrease the frequency of knee pains. For starters, knee pain is nearly inevitable. Good luck!
