The opponents also have cast a national net for donors. The Human Rights Campaign, which works for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights out of its Washington headquarters, has raised more than $570,000 for the fight against Prop. 8. Another Washington group, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, has given $200,000. David Maltz, a Cleveland businessman, has donated $500,000 to the anti-Prop. 8 effort.

Nice to see that someone like Mr. Bastian has the fortitude to put his time, effort AND money toward his belief that people are people and not things and "legitimate" or "illegitimate."

I bet there are others in the TG community who have likewise donated.

I do wish there was a way to track TG donations to the cause -- both number of donors and overall dollar amount.  It would not do to have our contributions to once again go unrecognised.
