But when Catherine Cusic, who is also a member, and vice president, of the Harvey Milk Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Democratic Club attempted to distribute some printed material to others at the dinner, she says, she was grabbed and forcibly removed from the dinner.

Cusic's story, in her own words, appeared at Happening Here. Cusic said that she had talked with some young men who also were seated at her table, toward the back of the room. Cusic filled them in on the story behind the ENDA, or Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

So, here at Susan's, we are perpetuating an act that is not fully disclosed as fact. The subject of this post is something like the Enquirer would do. I'm a transexual woman and I do want ENDA to be all inclusive but I don't want to mislead people or prefabricate something that is not true. I would like to get along with all. I would love to see the people who head HRC replaced with others who are more inclusive or get another organization to step up, one that is all inclusive with GLBTQ.

No we are not. What was done is a posting of an article from another source. As more of the story comes out, they too will be articles and offer a counterpoint to this. Lack of research and/or follow up is not the fault of Susan members but of the original source. I am not an investigative reporter nor would I want to be.

It's all about spin.  I've heard that yes, someone was peacefully escorted out, NOT ROUGHED up and I'm appalled that anyone, on either side of the debate, would try to spin this into something it never was...

This is SO why I hate activism...  It's the TS menace thinking of anger, violence, hatred and bitterness worked into spin.  No-one is going to take our rights to exist, work, live, and love peacefully with radicals and extremists out there grandstanding.  People getting all upset, angry, bitter and full of hate because some people just find it easier to transition and go on to live a nice normal life, and stealth just happens to be part of it.  How these people are holding everyone else back.

That's just crazy BS I say.  I didn't transition and resolve long standing medical issues because I wanted the consolation prize.  I wanted life, and something close to "normalish" for someone my age and gender.  I choose to educate when and where I can, honestly share my past, but there's no obligation that I should.

People who say otherwise are the reason "they" claim "we" are not ready...

Just my two cents...
