Melissa Ryan

Hiya, for the life of me I dont know wot to write here, been a long time since I posted an intro anywhere. I am not new to forums, but am new to here. Prolly pretty much the same as a lot of others I have struggled with the ups and downs of trans gender for the most part of my life. I finally feel as though I am getting somewhere now though. I am currently looking for work and excited about moving along in life. I packed all the male clothes I had away a little while ago and have moved out into the world as Mel. I feel a lot more at ease than I have in wot feels like forever.

I have a partner who loves me. Her name is Lyn. She is happy to be with me Mel and doesnt mind being percieved as a lesbian, however she isnt a lesbian. We have come up with comprimises on both parts to try and make this work for us.

Anyway, I am sure I will dribble on enough as time goes on, thankyou for having me here. =)

Thankyou, both of you. I have stepped from my comfort zone as you see Alice. A lot of things have changed for me. I embrace your hug now rather than run from the contact.

Chrissty, I was born in the UK, so was Lyn actually, both of us came here to Oz in 69, we didnt meet till around 87 tho, Lyn doesnt remember me from then, but I remember her. We were going to go back last year for a holiday, but neither of us could leave the doggie behind. Go figure, a world trip is hinged off a dog LOL!

Hi Melissa

This old island isn't what it used to be. A lot of the places look the same,
but the character of the people is slowly being destroyed by politicians
and the EEC.

There are a lot of complications in my life at present holding me here,
but I'm looking to emigrate to OZ or USA in a few years if someone will let
me in.

If you haven't read th forum rules, please do...They are not over long, and
will give you some hints about how to get the most of your stay here. The
main one for most of us, is the right to message and post pics after 15 posts

I wish you well on your journey, and I look forward to meeting you on some
forum topics soon...

Welcome Melissa! Sounds like life is coming along good then; I am glad you and your partner have a compromise that works for both of you. Getting a partner to stick around, for most of us, is usually not in the cards so it is nice to hear about it when it is. It makes life sooooo much easier to have that kind of support!
