Suspicious-looking woman athletes participating in next month's Olympic Games in Beijing will be forced to take a gender test, the Chinese authorities have announced.

I guess that's somewhat understandable. A transwoman was born with advantages that a ciswoman doesn't have...

So maybe a transwoman division would be appropriate? Although, doing that would be segregating...

That's really a tough one to call.

But the IOC has already given the green light for post-op ts to participate in the olympics in their desired gender.  The requirement is that they have been on HRT and are two years post-op.

So given this, genetic tests would not work 100% of the time.
