Hey, I've heard a lot about this place but never seemed to get around to visiting. SO far I like what I see and find a lot of the topics and whatnot very interesting. For now I'll just introduce myself as Aly. Here is the down and dirty on me. I was born a generic boy (spelling intentional) back in the good ole days of 1983. For a good percentage of my life I had those sterotypical nagging feelings, you know what they are

At the age of 13 or so I came to that inshakable conclusion that I wasn't very happy in terms of my body and self image. *Enter why it's really great to live in BFE virginia and have quack doctors who will prescribe you anything if you ask them.* Luckily my grandmother went to such a doctor and I was able to secure hormones at around 14 or 15. During my years in middle school I was harassed a lot for being small and looking girly (duh) so obviously I got beaten up on several occaisions. Not to say I didn't fight back, in some of those fights, I was abviously the winner. My last day of middle school one of my favorite teachers gave me a big hug and told me, "People might be hateful and not accept you for who you are, so you may need to find something that they CAN accept. Find something people love and be the provider of that." Thusly my entrance into the world of DJing.
My teacher was right, after about a year or so I was pretty good and I heard the school was having a dance, I asked the head of the planning body if I could play the party, I gave them my demo tape and the rest is shall we say history. I now DJ professionally (of sorts) in a lot of clubs around the Northeastern US. Although sometimes I'm blessed with getting my name on a flier, I'm usually the substitute DJ when they are on vacation or doing something else. It's a lot of fun and I get to meet a lot of really awesome people. Anyway I digress.
On my 18th birthday I had an orchi (best birthday EVER) and subsiquently spent the next week in bed (worst week after birthday EVER). Got into college, studied Information systems for about 3 years. Got kicked out of college here I am.
Now a little personal stuff since life stories can be rather boring:
I generally identify as female however I like trying to act as male as I can sometimes (with boobs this becomes difficult). I'd say I'm in between in terms of gender, and darn proud of it. I like my penis and don't intend to get srs. (Although swimming in a bikini would be nice) I'm a huge music buff and drive my neighbors crazy with my late night miing sessions. I have more records than I have apartment space for so I'm currently looking for a new apartment. That about it for my life as of right now. If you read this far congradulations. I'm not sure how I was even able to write this much..
Oh and I hope to be a contributing memeber to this group for quite some time
Thank You
