The media and the public that subscribe to this view have so far won this round. Have you written a polite letter to the Huntsville Times and the writer, David Holden, explaining that a male-to-female trans person who has had breast implants is a trans-woman, and pointing out the Associated Press Styleguide entry on referring to trans issues has these very guidelines?
Has anyone alerted GLAAD about this?
And anybody think about which jail she will almost certainly be housed in, given the tone of this story?
