This has been Pride Week in Vancouver. This weekend is Pride Weekend, and today is specifically Pride Day. I don't know why we have it at this time of year instead of around the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in June when most other cities have it, but anyone who lives here knows that you are much more likely to have good weather in late July and early August than you are in late June. And such was the case this weekend, after an unusually cool and damp end of July.
