Well, I just never wear underwear, and when I wear thermals, I go to the bathroom and I take them off when I'm not outside. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I seriously think that people encourage the use of underwear just to take some more of your hard-earned money in revenues and sales tax. Honestly, can anyone give me any good reasons to wear underwear? I can't think of any.

I can top that. I sleep in the nude and I stay nude whenever I'm alone in my home. Never saw the point of clothes aside from warmth, and indoors, warmth isn't hard to come by.

It may be odd, but unless your underwear is laced with antibiotic cream, I'm pretty sure you'll be just as dirty with them as you would be without.

You can wear pants more than once wearing underwear. Without underwear you get all nasty if you have a desire to wear pants more than twice without underwear. You may not think it's no biggie, but I've smelled some stinky *$$ people in my days.

Underwear keeps you is your first line defense for accidents.

Underwear can "catch" any desirables in which you missed.

it's actually more hygienic to wear underwear. Because underwear is designed to wear once and wash. If you go commando then you need to wear your pants once and then wash. If you wear pants without underwear as if you were wearing under, you get bacteria build up and an arse smell.

Generally not pleasant.

Well, to each their own, I suppose. Unless your underwear covers everything under your pants, I think it makes no difference. More parts of your lower body get dirty than your pelvis.

Bike shorts are tight like boxer briefs. Do they count?

I would have to say no as many bicycle shorts do not have the breathable type of fabric that boxer briefs has. It's been half a decade since I worn men's underwear but I remember them being more breathable than cycling shorts.

I cycle all the time...there's also the bike pad built into the crotch. That would be uncomfortable to wear.

I usually wear bikini cut panties but if I am wearing leggings or skinny jeans I usually wear a thong to eliminate the pantyline.
