Thank you both so very much.
Odd, sometimes how friendship works: I don't believe that I have ever told you, Tink, that The Red Priest is my favorite classical composer. I absolutely love his music -- & there's so much to love!! Yet, you choose him.

Perfect!
Provincetown and the Outer Cape is simply gorgeous this time of year. A 10 mile bike ride through dunes and the noontime heat, leaning forward coasting downhill just to get some breeze to flow over me. Laughing and pressing upward with Catherine. Forgetting to bring the water bottles in our rush to get out of the cozy little beach studio on the very edge of town .... The people, a kaleidoscope of faces and dress .... And Saturday night the moon from Herring Point falling like a huge citrone slice, orange slice, strawberry into the ocean and the base of the cape at 11:30 -- the onshore wind unraveling the day's toils with the bikes and the marvelous walk along Commercial Avenue -- "Hey girls, come to the show at 10 and bone-up on your anatomy!!" from a street hawker looking to add to the crowd at the show.
All now a wonderful set of memories: a weekend we needed to recharge.
I've missed you as well, Tink; and you Shay. The music is beautiful, as always. No gondolas, no St. Mark's; but the Unitarian Church mid-town, the sunset over the Bay, the pier and the grand pizza (rather than piazza) the butch woman "made it special for the two of you ladies." *sigh* Our own private Venezia.

Thank you both.
