I'm very new at this, so I was wondering if any one had tips on fetting started on this path to self fullfillment.

Tip #1 is self realization... if your there your on the right path...
Tip #2 is find yourself a theripist who has experiance with gender issues,  You'll need one to get the proper letters so you can start HRT, and later on for GRS if thats your goal....
Tip #3 Dont let it get you down, and live your life to the fullest... Its a hard road but in the end its worth it  :)
