What ignorant things have been said here... Being transgendered and being a cross dresser are two different things. For instance, I wear men's clothes, but I don't consider myself to be a cross dresser, because this is my projection of my gender identity. I like to consider cross dressers thespians; they are only girls or boys while they're dressed up. Boy by day, girl by night.
The thing is, I don't see what's misogynistic about a transgirl (or in the opinion of this other, a man) enjoying girl's things. Does that mean that all women who dress like tomboys hate men because they aren't willing to "give up" their female label? I might be wrong on this, but don't most transgirls want to be legally female and completely get rid of their male label?
Anyway, I do agree when the point that attacking transwomen is no different than attacking any woman. To refer to a transwoman's genitals as some mutilation is in my opinion a sort of female hatred. Some people think I'm a man hater because I don't like phalloplasty; the difference between phalloplasties and vaginoplasties, however, is that at least transgirl SRS looks good. I've seen pics that I swear pass very well. Phallos look like swollen, blood-filled bratwursts. Vaginoplasty? Looks like the real deal if you've got a good doctor.
