I identify as a woman, not a transsexual.  Transsexual is the obstacle I have to be with to live life in my true identity.  It is the birth defect.  It's what didn't work right in the beginning.  I can't think of a single reason I should celebrate that and tell the world that I'm "happy" I'm a transsexual.  It would be bull->-bleeped-<-.  And as far as being a lesbian goes, short of it being a great place to meet other lez girls, I don't really feel the need to announce it loudly.  My private sex life is just that, it's my private life.

I identify as male as my gender, but my sex is female. After transition, my sex with be transitioned male. That's just the true science of it all. But my identity is not transsexual. Although, I will say part of my identity has to do with the fact I grew up raised as a girl and had girl puberty and all that. A part of me will always understand womanhood because I had to go through it.
