Usually taller than men?

I'm 5'7" and I still wish I was shorter, lol. 5'5" would be my ideal height, but in all honestly I am happy with my current height. I can still wear big platforms and be under 6'. Most of my friends who are girls (GG) are taller than me and all my guy friends tower over me.

Ironically, at 5'6.5 I'm within average height for a female in the U.S. (that's the national average; in this melting pot called California, it seems the girls average 5 feet! ) But for being of Pacific Island decent, I was the taller than 98% of the guys I knew growing up.

Well I am 6'3", and my GG girlfriends are all so jealous of my height.  I transitioned in 2001, and at first I was self-conscious about it, but over the years I have become very comfortable being a tall woman, and I have fun with it, and appreciate the attention.  I wear 2" heels very often with puts me at 6'5".  WooHoo!

At 5' 9" tall, I was shorter than 3/4 of the girls I went to school with, most of whom were from northern European countries. I lived in Quebec for awhile where I was taller than 99% of ALL people!

In my 20's I dated a French Canadian fellow who was barely 5 feet tall and we used to have a BALL with the hight difference and really play on it - a real Boris & Natasha couple!

I'm a good bit taller than most of you at 6'6". I used to get quite stressed about it but it really hasn't been an issue for me and I only really think about it now when I hear shorter people getting stressed about their height or when I bang my head on a door frame  I wear heels when I feel like it.

I'm a tall woman.So what, I've got the legs tat go with it.

Hitting door frames is a problem for me when wearing high heels. I try to walk in pompous manner, then suddenly my head hits something above me. I look around if somebody noticed me. I become very careful when wearing high heels, but still sometimes bumped against something.

Even wearing 4-inch heels, I look like 6'4", and I am curious how you look like when wearing your heels? No difference at all?

yep. Most women are between 5'4 - 5'6.

I am 184cm (6'0''-6'1'') its average height for male in my area (former Yugoslavia)
woman are on average i'd say 5'7''-5'9 but not many fall in that average...
from time to time i see GG of my heght or even taller. There was a time when i was
obsessing about my height; but eventually i realised there are many other girls like me...
I konw of woman 6'6'' and more transitioning succesfully so why couldn't I?
Of course i wouldn't mind beeing shorter but only if i also had a smaller frame, having this
frame and less height wouldn't be good at all

For women in the USA the mean height about 5'4" with a 2" standard deviation.  At 5'10" I'm in the 90th percentile of women.  The average height of an American male is 5"10" again with a 2" SD.  Yes, I did some rounding.

i wish i was shorter so that i could wear higher heels, id love to wear platform stilettoes, but i guess my height is ok, im 5'6, so not that bad. i do wear 4 inch heels fairley often,
but i always date guys who are like at least 6', right now my guy is 6'4 lucky me lol

I am 5' 10".  About average when compared to most of the guys I work with, but I am taller than the other women in my store.  I do got looks when my BFF Peg and I go out shopping, she only about 5' 3" so i kinda stand out. No pun intended.  If I wear heels I am 6' easy, and that does get looks, some good some not so.
