No, it didn't happen, but it could have. As it is, an employer in
Montgomery County can fire somebody because they don't meet
expectations for their gender. A man with a high-pitched voice: fire
him. A woman with short hair: fire her. There is no legal protection
for people who deviate from gender norms in our county, until Bill
23-07 goes into law.
