Hayley Cropper is set to return to 'Coronation Street'.

The transsexual wife of cafe owner Roy Cropper has been doing charity
work in Africa for the past year.

But the shy do-gooder - played by Julie Hesmondhalgh - will not be the
same person fans of the show became accustomed to when she sets foot
back in Weatherfield.
