It came up on a different thread and I was curious.. I know at least two or three premature babies here.

Here's my stats:
10 weeks early. 1lb 14oz weight.

I'm a fraternal (Non-identical) twin and we were born six weeks early. Appartantly thats no so unusual for twins

I was born two months early. :) In October instead of December.  I don't remember how much I weighed, but there's a photo of me in the incubator with my father's wedding ring around my upper arm.

The timing of my birth probably affected my entire life.. if I'd been born in December, I probably would have had to start school a year later than I did.

as far as I know I am full term.  And as some said I am no longer trans anything.

I am a woman, period.

I wasn't premature actually I was way late 5 to 6 weeks. I ended with the cord wrapped around my neck when they induced labor. My digestive track was under developed and I had a few other problems but nothing major. As for my size I was 6 pounds 12 oz (3.06 kg), length 19"(48.26 cm), head 14" (35.56 cm), and chest 13" (33.02 cm) which I think falls into the normal range. During most or all except for a few days of the pregnancy my mom and dad were separated and me being so late didn't help things. My mom also was toxic or something like that.

Very near to me Pica Pica, 2lbs exactly and 8 weeks premature.

I said "not prem", although I was about a week early.  But then it took me 36 hours (from the point when contractions were 2 minutes apart) to actually make it into the outside world.  Apparently I tried to come out sideways.  Never was very good at directions.  :-\

I was actually two weeks late, and about 6 lbs.  The doc said everything was fine, I just did not seem to want to come out.  (Wonder if he knew something!)

I was premature, about a month early. I don't know how much I weighed, spent some time in an incubator, but I don't remember how long. For the purposes of the poll I voted androgyne, but could have voted TS... depends which day you ask me  :-\

I was born three months premature. I can not remember my exact weight and stuff but I was TINY.  I remember my mom telling me that I could fit inside people's hands if they cupped them together.

re: I am a TS and was NOT Prem

Was not premature. Stats: Labor induced a week early cause of water breakage, 7lbs, 3oz.

What are you driving at, Ginger? Trying to find some correlation between TGism and prematurity?

???

Does being premature supposedly make a person taller? I thought it was the opposite. I was under the impression that I am small because I was born prematurely.

Was right on time, delivered by C-section.  My twin was acardiac and acephalic due to a TRAP-sequence pregnancy - needless to say, I was the pump twin.

I was about a month premature.  I don't know how much I weighed, but I do that I had no fingernails or toenails and I had red hair which has since turned brown.
