On Tuesday morning I had the good fortune to quickly interview to Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña, my California State Assembly representative, about sexual abuse of active duty military women. It's pretty apparent that sexually abused military servicewomen -- as a group -- don't have the abuse incidents handled well by incident investigators, and these servicewomen don't receive appropriate aftercare from either the military services or the Veterans Administration (VA).
