This is a very awkward and confusing time for me, and those closest to me. I am no longer the confident and methodical thinker and decision-maker I was just two years ago. I no longer seem to have the ability to patiently think things through all the way to conclusion and take considered action without doubting myself and repeatedly changing my mind. In fact, today I seem to be changing my mind on important decisions every few days. It is both disconcerting and frightening to me, and is shaking my confidence severely. The impact on my loving spouse, in particular, is equally if not more hazardous.
