Well I had pretty good results from my Labiaplasty and general revision performed this year in the UK by James Bellringer. That was a full reconstruction as my original surgery was done in the early 80's when techniques were a lot cruder than they are now
No noticable scarring, no loss of sensitivity. I now have a clitoral hood, a neat small, sensate and erectile clitoris in the correct place. (how he managed that I don't know - it's like a tiny little button but boy is it sensitive!), urethra that emerges in the correct place, and small neat labia minora which do not extend beyond the labia majora but can be clearly seen when they are parted.
I am not disappointed about the small labia minora as they may be small, but they are there, and besides I always think that girls with "innies" look much neater and nicer than "outies" but perhaps that's just me.
overall sensitivity is excellent.
Trouble is, as I have said many times, we are all different. What works brilliantly for me may not for someone else with different anatomy, and we are talking biology here... so perfection really isn't the name of the game.
I've slept with enough men and women to know that there is a huge range of shapes and sizes even among those who have had no "alterations". I dare say, judged against a medical text book my result isn't perfect, but it isn't going to look out of place against anyone else, and that's all that matters.
So I think you have to be veryy careful that you don't have unrealistic expectations which can only be dashed. I went into my revision in the knowledge that the early 1980's result that I had, though fully functional, looked a mess. I wasn't expecting much, although I hoped that some of the anatomical anomilies could be sorted out, like lack of clitoral hood, urethra emerging behind a pseudo clitoris which was unfeasibly large etc etc.
I wasn't disappointed as the result was much closer to cosmetic perfection than I could ever have imagined possible.
