Or man or person or whatever depending on your orientation.

You just see someone so beautiful that your mind goes to mush. Anybody?
I think there should be a legal term for it.

Back in the 90s I was in Manhattan for a month on business.  I spent several of my Sundays wandering around in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  On one of those occaisions I'd found my way into a section of 19th century paintings.  I rounded a corner through a doorway and there she was - Amelie Gautreau, Madam X, 1883 by John Singer Sargent.  The painting is life size and luminous to behold.  I was and still am in love with this Parisian beauty, a star of La Belle Epoque.  The portrait caused a scandal at the Paris Salon that year.  The straps on the dress were added as Madame's bare shoulders were far too suggestive for that era.

Yes,
I have seen her, and what was maddening was that she had also seen me. We shared a lifetime together, and never spoke a word.
I was so angry with myself that I did not go and meet her, or introduce myself.
But maybe that is what is so beautiful about life. We know she is out there, and they know we exist, and maybe that is what makes it so wonderful. The possibility of what might have been, or what could be.

Anyway as for a word I will have to something between, smitten, love, passion, emotion, beauty. How about LEBPS, with a silent p!!!  lol

Also brings to mind a question. Is there a story behind this initial question?

At least once a week.  But I work in a place where lots of girls show up, and work hard at looking good to do it.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

No.  But I have been dumbstruck by some smiles some strangers have given me.  Like, losing your entire train of thought and turning really red kind of dumbstruck.
