If there was ever any doubt about whether LGBT support would be an underlying thread during last week's televised Democratic National Convention, one needed only to check out the packed parade of gay-friendly politicos, many of whom professed their allegiance to a national audience by way of Denver, CO.
Just visibility of LGBT voices themselves was essential, as the likes of out Reps. Barney Frank and Tammy Baldwin, as well as DNC Treasurer Andrew Tobias, staked out prominent spots both on the podium and behind the scenes.
