Woman Dies After Shooting

"She was really a good person," said neighbor Troy Hurt. "A really
quiet neighbor."

Hurt lived downstairs from Nikki Williams, also known as Nakhia, who
was in the middle of a transgender operation process.

Hurt was shocked and scared by what allegedly happened just outside his door.

"She was actually found around here by the dumpster," he said.

"There was possibly four black males that apparently forced the victim
and the occupant to the ground, a lot of commotion going on," said
Detective Phil Russell of Metro Police. "Unfortunately, this
individual was shot."
