More U.S. Companies Cater to 'Transgendered' Employees

Across the country, particularly at larger companies, "transgender"
workers are receiving special rights and benefits, The New York Times
reported. Of Fortune 500 companies, 125 provide special protections
based on employees' "gender identity."

While "transgendered" workers account for about 0.01 percent of
employees nationwide, employers are going out of their way to
accommodate them.

That old 1-in-10,000 number that has been ripped to shreds by Lynn Conway.  There's new numbers, supported by Lynn and other respected researchers, that put the lower bounds at around 1 in 2,500 and the upper bounds at around 1 in 500.  So, it seems to me CitizenLink is deliberately understating the prevalence by at least a factor of four, if not a factor of 20.

CitizenLink has no comments page in which to challenge their disinformation.  I doubt they'll consider a few e-mails, no matter how polite and well-reasoned...
