I am eating estrogen and antiandrogen in specialist's supervision. However thyreoid tests are not taken when controlling blood work. I was taken only blood count, glucose and a liver test. Some time again one other doctor noticed abnormalities that can suite to thyreiod condition.
Could estrogen therapy cause a thyreoid condition?

I've read very recently that HRT can cause problems with thyroid function, or exacerbate existing problems.  I don't remember the details, though, and I'm not sure where I read it.

Everything I have read would indicate the opposite, that low thyroid function affects hormone therapy. (much more so than the other way around)

Before my HRT I was taken the thyreoid tests. They were normal then.
