A national media frenzy ensued after a Spring Arbor University
professor was fired because he became a she.

Since then Julie Nemecek, formerly John Nemecek, has been advocating
for tolerance and understanding and regularly speaking about what it

A lot of transfolk say they're not a mistake. And we, as people, are not mistakes.

I do, however, believe a mistake was made when I was born with female genitalia. I'm a boy. There was some sort of mix up.

So all transgender folks are nonhetero?

Meh. That was either a misuse of the word heterosexual or that might be how they actually classify it.

The author probably meant cisgender individuals.
