Nate, you look masculine except for the fact that your stance in the photo is traditionally feminine. Most of the reason why FtM's get she'd a lot is the way they hold themselves. If you look the slightest bit ambiguous, the next thing people will look at is how you hold yourself and then judge on that.
And no slouching. Slouching is bad for you.
I can totally pass with a beanie on as well.
It's an old picture from this summer, when I first started hiding my hair, but didn't know I was trans yet. Body habits die hard, but I've pretty much squashed them by now. Only 10% of the time or less do I catch myself standing the way I stood in that picture (minus slouching) when I get tired standing on my feet too long.
See you can tell it's an old picture

The black shirt makes my chest ambiguous, but I was wearing a bra >< and look ma! No tattoo

.....
But maybe to stay on topic, here's nate's doctored picture

Paint's so much better than that site from what I've seen

You look masculine to me.
But then again I get those moments where I think I look really masculine then I look back at pictures or glance at a mirror later and think it was just wishful thinking.
I have those moments all the time :-/ And then someone calls me a she.
I walk masculine, sit masculine, stand masculine (hands in pockets and everything, when my hands happen to be there) 90% natural.
But then they look at my hair and see that it's straightened. Black men don't straighten their hair with the exception of.....

Haha
That's totally not the look I'm going for.
So hiding my hair for now might work (again)
