CBS' 30-year-old CBS Sunday Morning television show recently aired
"The Sex Change Capital of The U.S.," a ten-and-a-half minute piece on
Trinidad, Colorado and its nationally-known Dr. Marci Bowers. Instead
of the sensationalism, botched pronouns or jeering crowds of a Jerry
Springer show, viewers saw a proud small town with nothing to hide
except for their boredom with reporters looking for a juicy story
about transsexual people
