The local chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey of the
Big Red Wood, hosted and emceed the event, which sold out for the
fourth year in a row, with hundreds of community members in attendance
ready to play bingo. The Bingo With A Twist events have helped raise
more than $27,000 for local charities, including the Humboldt County
AIDS Task Force, Humboldt Community Breast Health Project, HIVkids,
Humboldt Senior Resource Center's New Alzheimer's Center, RAVEN
Project, and the North Coast Rape Crisis Team.
