I have a pretty bad memory, but things flick in and out at times. Sometimes I can't tell if they're a dream or if it really happened, so I'd have to ask someone, but no one really remembers.
I do remember fishing with my Grandpa for the first time, maybe around the age 6 or 7, possibly 5. I remember being really scared because my a$$ of a cousin had told me there were sharks and aligators in the water, and they would come and get me if I got to close to the shore. So I cast out my line and walked about 20 feet away from the waterline. When I finally caught a fish I was so scared I dropped the pole and took off running

That was a pretty long time ago though.
When I was at school I had a bunch of guy friends, and we roughed around and beat eachother up and even broke a couple of bones during one nasty football game, and they were more than cool with me just being one of the guys. We used to watch wrestling at my house all the time, and when it was over we would act it out in the way we thought it should have happened.
I remember my mom letting me take Karate classes with my older cousin, (The same guy who told me about the sharks and the aligators...), because she knew I wasn't about to go to Young Womens Church Meetings like my sister did every Tuesday.
I wasn't very good at Karate, and all the boys in the class teased me about it, until one day when I was supposed to spar with this one kid and only use kicks like our teacher had taught us. The kid I was fighting started doing these stupid little kicks and hits, and the teacher was taunting me for not doing it right and the kids were laughing, and I got pissed and just started punching and kicking the little bugger like my friends had taught me. I didn't make it past a white belt because they kicked me out after that.
Up until about Highschool I only had guy friends, and I never saw the point in having friends that were girls because they just didn't get me, and they didn't want to do things that I wanted to do. But I remember one girl who I was pretty close to back when I was 10ish. I liked her a lot and she was my first crush. I remember qute a few of my guy friends had a crush on her, so it was always kind of a competition between us all to see who she liked more. We did stupid things to get her attention as much as we could, like kick the ball her way and do a 'spectacular' slide and kick right infront of her.
Eventually it broke down to a fight between me and one of my closer friends over her, and when she asked me what me and him were fighting about I was too ashamed to say it was over her.
She moved away after that, and I didn't get another crush until late into my Junior High School days.
There's not much else highlighted in the memory banks. A few clips here and there but I dont remember the people's names or where we were. I remember lots of tree climbing, and even falling out of a few, and games that involved endless amounts of running I only wish I could still do. Nothing else really stands out as important to me as the few memories I still have do.
