Gender in International Films series slated for October

5:27 p.m., Sept. 18, 2008----Screenings of UD's Gender in
International Films fall series are slated for 3:35 p.m., Wednesdays,
throughout October in 102 Gore Hall. The film screenings are open to
the public and also are offered as a one-credit, P/F course (WOMS
290.010).

Scheduled films are listed below.

Grbavica: The Land of My Dreams (Bosnia-Herzegovia), Oct. 1, deals
with the trials of a single mother and her tomboy daughter, in the
aftermath of the 1990s Balkan War, set in Grbavica, which represents
the horror of the war years as the site of a prison camp where torture
and rape were tactics of war.
