The Symposium will feature a keynote address by Professor Dean
Spade of Seattle University School of Law, an afternoon address by
Shannon Minter of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and panels
of accomplished scholars and practitioners addressing the ways in
which our legal and social systems create obstacles for transgender
persons and the ways in which those obstacles affect transgender
lives.
