Obviously, everyone is going to be different. But I'm curious how your experiences were. I'll be starting in a couple months so I'd like to have a GENERAL idea of where I might be.

My voice started to drop a week after I started. It was pretty quick from there on -- my voice was at a pretty normal male level a month in, and just kept going down from there -- now I'm a bass. As for hair, it was pretty slow...I'm two years in and I have a beard below my jawline but not really above that, although it's been slowly creeping up. Clitoral growth started about a month in. As for body hair, that was pretty fast, too. I sometimes wish I had less!

Holy crap! A week? Amazing. If that happens to me... lol, good luck explaining that to my mom.

A month in and no voice changes yet for me, but I've got hairs growing on my chin, soul patch and stache. Muscles have gotten denser and are growing bigger. Nothing much else really.

But it all depends on person to person to be honest!

I was on T for a number of months before I started presenting as male. I think it was 7 months in before people started to call me sir when I wasn't trying. I was on a low dose to start with. But at the beginning, you'll notice the changes well before other people and they will just think you have a cold at the beginning of your voice change.

Voice drop in the first few weeks, still cracks and occ. I have days where it seems like it was before, but overall it's been fairly consistently low.  No hair anywhere.  Lost 18+ pounds.  Some growth and increased libido, but I've always had a high drive so it hasn't been that much more.  I'm staying in a hotel with mirrors and noticed that my shoulders seem a bit squarer and I have more upper arm muscles.  The only reason I noticed that is because pre-T a "helpful" friend pointed out that my shoulders were too narrow and slumpy in relation to my hips.  I  never had wide hips and when skinny look like an ironing board, no waist, no butt.  But here in the hotel I can see my shoulders are a bit wider than my hips and despite sitting on my arse for the last 3 weeks (post hysto) my upper arms seem to have more muscles than they should.

Overall the results have been very minor, but it's only been 8 weeks.

It is different for everyone... i didn't really start to get noticeable changes until about my third shot (about a month).  That's physical stuff.  Acne first, Voice... growth.  change in smell of pee.  My neck got thicker.  Facial Hair about three/four months but its only on my right side and patchy.

Mentally/emotionally I noticed an immediate change.  I could almost feel my synapses firing, i swear that's what it felt like.

Well, I'm an old fart and had medical reasons that were not transition-related that prompted me to get my hysto.  My doc first recommended it 3 years ago, before I realized I was trans.  So of course the first thing I did when I realized I was trans, still listed as F, AND was finally covered by insurance, was to get the hysto.  I also was done having kids and just about the age for pre-menopause, so the doc had no problems with me getting the whole thing yanked.

If you're younger and have no medical issues in that regard there may be a bit more hoop-jumping to get a hysto.  But I have no real clue on that.

I have PCOS symptoms, fibromyalgia and a tubal ligation... maybe they'll be sympathetic... maybe I can get a proper PCOS diagnosis and get it paid for... idk.

AND BEFORE PEOPLE JUMP MY POOP: I'm disabled and a college student. Student Loans are my living money. School or not, I don't think I could work a regular job right now if I wanted to. I've got a kid, too, so when I say there's no Pocket for Out Of Pocket... I mean, there REALLY is no pocket. I gotta go for what I can get.

my voice started to crack after my second shot. Its dropped a bit but still squeeks when I try to sing(not that i can anyways) and the high note that I used to hit talking to my moms dog wont come out anymore, lol.

I've had a little growth and increased libido.

hair has increased noticably to others on my chin.

The other day my little cousin freaked out. He was like "Jay! you're growing a beard!" Jumped up and touched the hair on my chin.

Lol, I didn't know you could see it unless you were staring right at my chin standing right in front of me.

The leg hair on my thighs is darkening.
and acne is a little worse but that may just be because I stopped proactive.

Anyone have any suggestions for clearing acne?
I kinda had a problem with it before because I have such oily skin.
I'm currently trying out nivea for men and those stridex pads.

cetaphil or st. ives apricot scrub.  also, talk to your doctor- tetracycline twice a day will reduce the amount of sebum your skin produces.

Jason- Oral antibiotics can be effective but are far from a front line treatment. Try washing your face twice a day with an all natural soap that you know is safe for you. Make sure you moisturize, I like jojoba oil.

Find me here- PCOS is grounds for a hysto as long as you complain enough to the right doctors. I had abnormal bleeding that may or may not have been induced and the doctors were able to grant me a hysto at 18 for that reason and my continued hounding them to do it. I see no reason why anybody should pay out of pocket for these surgeries.

It has been too many years for me to remember what happened first but by the 6 month mark I was passing entirely as male abet a prepubescent male.
